Founded in 1973 by Ivan Tolfa, ACG was built on hard work, family values, and doing things the right way. What began as a single location has grown into a legacy of craftsmanship and trust.
Ivan took a leap of faith, leaving his career as a hair stylist to start the business with a $3,000 loan from his wife's aunt. He worked alongside his brothers, who were already highly skilled bodymen.
The early years were challenging. With limited English and little business experience, Ivan learned on the job, often driving the tow truck himself day and night to bring in work and build the company's reputation.
Integrity became the foundation of ACG. This was a business built on honesty, trust, compassion, and the importance of standing by one's word. There were no shortcuts, because quality and accountability always came first.
From one location, ACG grew to over 17 locations across the GTA in its prime. Today, we operate 4 locations, allowing us to remain hands-on, client-focused, and committed to the same values that built our name over 50 years ago.
